Our knitted Lyon rosette is so successful that we decided to make it also in a traditional red net. It must be said that, hanging from a nice hook in your kitchen, it's a real show! In this glamorous version, swaddled in its pretty cotton net, Maison Cisson's Rosette de Lyon, is the Sharon Stone of the charcuterie in evening wear at the Cannes Film Festival.
A short story of the real rosette of Lyon: Of peasant origin, the rosette has the particularity of being embossed in a hose whose diameter goes narrowing. Its shape is therefore slightly tapered. It is then filtered and dried for a period of two to three months and should be kept in the outdoor air in a clean, dry place, protected from the sun and without excessive temperatures.
It must be said that with that of Maison Cisson, all these conservation precautions are useless.
