Early tin toys really are marvellous and the details they put into the manufacturing are truly staggering and part of the reason why we love them so much. This flight game was produced in Germany between 1912-1915. It is hand painted and the gondola contains two figures. The clockwork still functions which in itself is amazing and a testament to the build quality. The Zeppelin is held up by the lead counterbalance.
This would make a great centre piece in any office or display cabinet and certainly would be a great talking point.
